Happy Holidays

3 min read
Have a wonderful Christmas, and enjoy the time you get with your family and friends. I'll be back next year with much, much more art, scrapping everything that's up now, and rebuilding my gallery.
I promise to work a helluv a lot harder, and stay inspired, and keep motivating myself.

My New Year's Resolution: Keep all the great things I have, and keep making them better. Whether it's friendship-wise, relationship-wise, or even artistic-wsie. I want to improve them all.

List of things to do starting next year:
+Stylization
+Realism study
+Anatomy and Physiology study
+Marker + coloured pencil pieces
+More cartoony
+Comics

I love you guys!
Let this next year be the best one yet!!
:)

I'm happy.
Still no inspiration
Or desire to do art.
Fuuuuck.

Mad World..

4 min read
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had

I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had

I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world ... mad world
Enlarging your world
Mad world

It's Art

6 min read
If it disturbs you, it's art.
If it inhabits your dreams
And questions your fears,
it's art.
If it lifts you up in some
sort of emotional epiphany
or throws your preconceptions
to the ground, trust us, it's art.
Because art, if you know how
to look for it, is everywhere.
It's in the building you just
walked by without noticing.
It's on the fashion models
and mannequins, on the
billboards and the bus shelters,
It's on every TV channel and
inside every magazine, it's
beside the tree in the park over
there by the fence post only
you don't see it yet. Which is
exactly where we come in.
The Academy of Art University
exists for one purpose only:
to give birth to artists of
passion and commitment.
To inspire classroom after
classroom, generation after
generation, of visionaries and
filmmakers, designers, modern
revolutionaries and hopeful
romantics, anyone who refuses
to look at things the same old,
uninspired way.
Our only commodity
is art. And there is
no higher commodity
than that.
So we spend every waking
moment -- okay, maybe even
some of the sleeping ones --
with and overwhelming passion
to motivate and stimulate
and encourage. To show that
talent is contagious. And
around here, it's catching.
See, at the Academy of Art
University we believe
inspiration comes out of
every street corner, every
traffic stop, every classroom
that challenges you, every
teacher that hands you a
key, every blank canvas,
every empty wall, every
bolt of fabric or empty
computer screen.
Every day in San Francisco
inspires us; every day the
Academy of Art University
inspires San Francisco
in kind.
Which is why everywhere
we look, we see artists.
Artists who refuse
You Can't and create
Yes, you can
Artists who hear Mundane
and think Magical.
Artists and teachers and
professionals who think
art is a kind of salvation.
An open door policy that
expects nothing less than
one hundred percent
passion commitment
combined with a thousand
percent open-minded-
enthusiastic-I-want-to-
create-something-gorgeous-
or-brilliant-or-insanely-
wonderful desire.
Inside our classrooms and
outside our walls we breathe
eat drink dream art. We see
it in the craziest places.
We create it when no one
else is looking. We throw
our passion against the wall
and see what sticks.

A man once said great art is
either plagiarism or revolution.

We say let the revolution begin.

This place?
Inspiring.
It's from a booklet I received from the AAU (obviously).
Phew. Second thing I got that's stunned me this much, from a college.
The first thing I got was a catalog, showing off one of the schools, programs, etc. And it was also from AAU.

They don't /just/ teach art here. Well, they do, but they also have sports, just like any college, which I found really shocking!
Did I mention they have a former Olympic fencer for a fencing instructor? Soooo cool. Even if I'm not interested in fencing at all, that is so neat.

--

Well, in other news.
My scanner's broken.
But I have a camera.

Also, I fell quite ill Saturday afternoon.
And this morning, after I got out of the shower, for the first time in my life, I actually passed out. Walking to my room, my legs and body just said "/no" to me.

The good news is, I'm feeling much, much, better now.

--

Let's see, what else?
Oh..I really need a job.
I can do paypal commissions and everything now too, although I'm sure no one would be interested in a commission.
Sooo, off to conceptart.org

Oh, and after this play thing at my school is over, and I don't have rehearsal after school and stuff, I'll be applying for a job at McDonalds, and Taco Bell.

I hate fast food.

--

Otherwise, that's pretty much it.
Aidos.

Tips for Serial Killers:
Because I enjoy following the exploits of serial killers, I'm always hoping they never get caught. So I've compiled a list of suggestions to help them stay on the loose longer; that way they can provide me with maximum entertainment.

TO THE KILLERS: If you're looking for some form of perverted attention and publicity I can't help you. But if you just want to kill a lot of people one by one, I'm your guy: Here's how you can maximize the time it will take the police to apprehend you.

*Make sure your victims are not all the same types. Kill a variety of people: tall, short, rich, poor, male, female, young, old. But don't kill them in any particular order. Do two old men in a row, then do a young woman, then a teenage boy. Mix blondes and brunettes and long hair and short. And don't bother with prostitutes.

*Vary the type of locations where you grab your victims and vary the times of day.

*Try to do the work in heavily populated areas where there are more murders to begin with.

*If at all possible, travel around the country and kill each victim in a different state. Never kill two people in the same city within a year. And don't travel in a straight line. Randomness is your greatest ally.

*Kill each of your victims in a completely different manner: Do some really weird ones, and then do some ordinary ones. Sexual, non-sexual; ritual, non-ritual. Don't specialize. Patterns are your enemy.

*Dispose of the bodies as far from the murder sites as possible, always at least a hundred miles. Bury some, burn some, and dissolve the others in lime and acid. If you encounter any chance witnesses to any part of the killings or disposals, they should be killed and disposed of with a minimum fuss. And be sure to dispose of the separately.

*When driving to the murder, or especially the disposal sites, be careful not to break the law or have an accident. Use cash for everything. Don't stay in motels. Drive a late-model van-type vehicle you can sleep in, and don't park it where police might be expected to patrol. Have a large food supply and eat in the vehicle. If possible, change vehicles after every murder.

*Don't write notes to the police to taunt them in any way. It's dumb.

*Don't save newspaper clippings. In fact, don't even read the newspaper accounts.

*Don't keep souvenirs from any of the victims.

*Start watching the CSI shows on CBS and the Law & Order shows on NBC. Every now and then you will pick up some piece of information that will help you avoid mistakes.

Be smart and stay alive. Some of us are counting on you.
